Culmina Family Estate Decora 2014
Golden Mile Bench, Oliver, Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, CanadaThe Culmina 2014 riesling falls under the dry, spare, mineral, stony camp no doubt connected to its 595 meter elevation at Margaret’s Vineyard. Not for beginners or anyone looking for some sweetness in their riesling the attack is fresh with bright citrus notes, hints of chalk and more cool grapefruit, nectarine skin notes than peach fruit. Oysters are natural pairing, creamy seafood pasta dishes would also work. The winery suggests gruyère and pancetta stuffed chicken.Tasted: 08 June 2015Tasted by: Anthony Gismondi and Stuart TobePrices:BC | $23.00 | 750ml | speculative listing - Pacific Wine & Spirits |
