Sonoma Coast, Sonoma County, California, United StatesPencil, plum, beetroot and cherry cola aromas open this full pinot noir, with grapes sourced from across the Sonoma Coast. After 15 days of maceration with native and cultured yeast, the wine rested ten months in oak barrels (10 percent new). The smoothed, round palate is prickled with spicy wood, ripe raspberry, figs, sweet tobacco and black cherry jam. Tannins are supple, acidity is moderate and the finish is vanilla cherries. Pour this ripe style with figgy pork or Moroccan spiced lamb.Tasted: 19 June 2015Tasted by: Prices:

Sonoma Coast, Sonoma County, California, United StatesTypically big and boisterous, California pinot noir is for those who like the hedonistic pinot style. The attack is fresh, round, elegant and juicy, the palate suave with layers of raspberry, cocoa, vanilla, blood orange, celery salt and tobacco flavours with light, round tannins. Rich, fruity and intense this will need three years in bottle to really show its best stuff.Tasted: 18 May 2015Tasted by: Prices:
