Unsworth Vineyards Symphony 2012

Cowichan Valley, Vancouver Island, British Columbia, CanadaThis gutsy red is a blend of hybrid grapes petit milo and cabernet libre - obscure to many wine lovers, but the future of big reds on the marine Wine Islands, in the mind of many growers. Roasted coffee, cherry, dill and pickling spice aromas. The medium bodied palate is smoothed and round, with herbal cherry, twine, dill, choke cherry, vegetal and black raspberry flavours. Peppery pickling spice and wood smoke on the finish. Best served up with campfire sausages or burgers.Tasted: 23 May 2015Tasted by: Treve RingPrices:
