Five Vineyards by Mission Hill Pinot Blanc 2012
Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, CanadaThe %V pinot blanc is unoaked which explains the freshness and bright acidity that lifts all the fruit flavours. The plate is mix of ripe green/gold apple fruit with bits of lemon lime and pink grapefruit. The finish is of medium length. The winery recommends oysters or a beet and goat's cheese salad. We think most sushi rolls would work too. The fruit comes from a wide mix of sites including Oliver 63%, Kelowna 18%, Naramata 11% and Osoyoos 8%.Tasted: 10 August 2015Tasted by: Prices:| BC | $16.00 | 750ml | specialty listing, VQA shops |
