Lombardy, ItalyVintage 2010 was a very warm year, and recognized as a "thick" vintage in Lombardy. This blanc de blanc's roundness reflects it, with less of the poised delicacy of the previous vintage. This distinctive pyramidal shaped bottle opens with slight oxidative notes underneath fine white florals, light brioche and acacia. Honeyed almonds, delicate yellow florals and rocky minerality on the creamy, medium bodied palate, carrying pear, gooseberry, acacia honey, chamomile and trailing off with lime pith.
