Alsace, FranceWhile lean and linear, this aromatic white is quite concentrated with white blossoms, quince, mandarin and eraser. Stone and smoky mineral fill the palate, layered with ginger, dried pear, fennel, quince and lemon pith spiciness. From one of the iconic bio-dynamic producers in the world, this is a highly interesting riesling, and the starting level of his riesling portfolio, which arcs up steeply in both price and complexity from here.
