Signorello Seta 2012
Napa Valley, California, United StatesRay Signorello makes a silky white wine blending sémillon and sauvignon blanc from Oak Knoll District fruit, dry-farmed, near to the Napa River. The nose is a mix of pear and melon with just a spray of citrus. The attack is nimble with a bitter nectarine, pear passion fruit flavour that ends juicy and stony. Surprisingly nimble for a 100% barrel-fermented white. That spends a further 8 months in barrel a la Bordeaux Blanc. A fine match for sophisticated seafood or chicken dishes.Tasted: 20 April 2015Tasted by: Anthony GismondiPrices:BC | $50.00 | 750ml | specialty listing |
