Rustic Roots Fameuse 2013
British Columbia, CanadaThe 2011 grabbed a silver medal a couple of years ago at the National Wine Awards of Canada and the current version is equally impressive. A Provencal-like orange colour the blend in this sparkler is some 70 percent Fameuse apples (the tree in question is closing in on a century of growth in the Similkameen with 30 percent Santa Rosa plums. The nose is predictably ‘fruity’ with a hint of apple cider.
