Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, CanadaThe malbec is grown on-site in Naramata and was fermented in open top fermenters before ageing in American and French oak barrels for 14 months. It has a strong malbec character with plenty of blueberry and blackberry fruits mixed with spice and a rich dollop of oak and acidity. The tannins are soft and disappear into the juicy, dry black tea and dark fruit finish. The classic match is beef empanadas but barbecue ribs will do just fine.Tasted: 03 July 2015Tasted by: Prices:

Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, CanadaCracked cloves and nutmeg open this unique malbec, sourced from the estate vineyard on the Naramata Bench. Under the spice box, black plums, blackberry jam and cracked peppercorns. The full, plump palate is potent with the same, along with sweet smoke, black cherry compote and lingering vanilla, black pepper and dried blueberries. Ample tannins are a touch chewy and acidity is moderate - pour with beef ribs or brisket for best results.Tasted: 13 April 2015Tasted by: Prices:
