Marqués de Cáceres Rosé 2013

Rioja, SpainThe Rioja rosé is gradually moving its colour profile toward Provence exchanging dark pink for muted salmon. Even though this Caceres is closing in on a year and a half in the bottle, under screwcap the nose is still fresh. The blend is a mix of mostly tempranillo with a touch of garnacha the fruit a raspberry/strawberry affair that is bright but dry and food friendly. Think summer foods, pork kebobs or chicken or pasta salads.Tasted: 24 April 2015Tasted by: Anthony GismondiPrices:
