Chateau Cos d'Estournel 2010

St. Estèphe, Haut-Médoc, Médoc, Bordeaux, FranceBlackberry, cassis, peppery, vanilla, black olive, floral, herbal, smoky, licorice, tobacco, five spice aromas. Rich, full, round, ripe and warm, jammy palate but with good acidity and ripe tannins. Smoky coffee, vanilla, chocolate, earthy, peppery, plum jam, blackberry, tobacco and prune flavours. Long, very ripe and warm but tannic structure. This has great potential but like 2009, it is on steroids for ripeness and will need 7 to 12 years minimum bottle age before it reveals its true stuff. That said it has much better lift than the 2009.Tasted: 12 October 2013Tasted by: Prices:
