Summerhill Pyramid Winery Ehrenfelser 2013
Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, CanadaThis Ehrenfelser comes from a leased vineyard in Oliver that is not certified organic, though the fruit is grown to Summerhill's standards without synthetics, and treated the same way in the winery as all of the winery's organic wines. The wine was the first in BC to be made with the use of a nitrogen generator, allowing the winery to a reduce sulphite additions to the minimum. Opening with a nose of orange tablet and peach nectar before a lightly, fizzy, palate of tropical fruits, key lime and musk melon and a spicy finish.
