FranceThis pétillant natural rosé is from the little known Auvergne wine region, located in the centre of France, nestled in the central Massif and surrounded by extinct volcanoes. Here Jean Maupertuis prunes, tills and cares for his organic 3.5 hectare vineyards all by himself. This blend of 50+ year old d’auvergne gamay and gamay pours the palest pink orange hue, with very fine, delicate bubbles. Quiet stony strawberries, mineral and subtle thorny floral notes. Crisp and bright with strawberry laced residual sugar balanced by a rush of acidity.
