Tasmania, South Australia, AustraliaThe fruit is sourced from selected cool climate vineyards across Tasmania and ends up as individual batches especially chosen to form the Cuvée base. The blend usually is 75/25 chardonnay/ pinot noir. The nose is a riot of aromas mixing lemon zest, honeysuckle, and a subtle wild strawberry note. It gets 18 months of lees contact, adding a nutty complex underside to support a delicious, creamy, bright, fresh palate full of citrus and salinity. Oysters are the west coast match. It finishes with a very pithy, grippy pink grapefruit.
