Haywire Switchback Vineyard Wild Ferment 2012

Summerland Bench, Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, CanadaA new release from the center part of the vineyard with 100% wild yeast ferment and done in concrete. Earthy, lime, lemon custard, floral, green peach, grassy, waxy, herbal and thyme aromas. Ripe, round, fresh, creamy and slightly oily palate but austere. More butter, lemon oil, grassy, herbal, green apple skin and slate flavours. Good texture and length with a light bitterness. Will improve over the next few years as it integrates and fleshes out. A new style for the Okanagan that should be welcomed.Tasted: 20 January 2014Tasted by: Prices:
