Haywire Pinot Noir Rosé 2012
Summerland Bench, Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, CanadaA new rosé from Haywire that switches from gamay to pinot noir. It would appear to be a touch more luxurious than the gamay and sweeter. The attack is soft, with sweet cherry strawberry fruit offering less complexity and more drink-me appeal. Should be okay with the usual fare but the sweetness will also help with spicy appetizers. The colour is pink/orange, a la Provence, the finish juicy if a touch sweet. Watermelon salad anyone?Tasted: 26 March 2015Tasted by: Anthony GismondiPrices:BC | $25.00 | 750ml | winery direct, private wine shops |
