Chateau St. Jean Fumé Blanc 2012
Sonoma County, California, United StatesThis wine is a model of consistency although it is getting a hair leaner each year which is a good thing. A small amount of the mix is oak-fermented and aged in neutral oak for texture. Open fruity mineral nose with bits of grapefruit, lemon and tangerine with as mention a leanness and brighter acidity. Ready and easy to drink with soft cheeses, pasta or shellfish. The grapes come from across Sonoma County including the Russian River Valley, Alexander Valley, Knights Valley and Sonoma Valley.Tasted: 23 March 2015Tasted by: Anthony Gismondi and Stuart TobePrices:BC | $19.00 | 750ml | specialty listing |
