Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, CanadaCedarCreek has decided to isolate single blocks of their vineyards when the demonstrate something striking and unique, like this Block 4 pinot noir from 2012. Here, 22 year-old vines throw black raspberry and sweet earth aromas. The smooth palate shows cedar toast, red cherries and black raspberries, sanded, somewhat stemmy tannins and finely rasped pepper. The finish is A1 Steak Sauce.
