C.C. Jentsch Syrah 2013
Oliver, Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, CanadaLove the fragrant, rich spicy, peppery nose flecked with sausage meat, licorice, vanilla, sage and tobacco/coffee notes. Round, smooth and dry on the palate with fresh acidity but very smooth tannins. Coffee, roasted meat, peppery, licorice, sage, black cherry, five spice and vanilla flavours. Good intensity in a cooler style with a bit of acidity in the back end. Perfect for lamb chops.Tasted: 11 March 2015Tasted by: Anthony Gismondi and Stuart TobePrices:BC | $29.90 | 750ml | winery direct, VQA and private wine shops |
