Xanadu Cabernet Sauvignon 2011
Margaret River, Western Australia, AustraliaNot your average Margaret River cabernet. Its ripe, the nose is beautifully proportioned showing hints of oak and spice with plenty of black currant fruit. The attack is fresh with cedar, black fruits, coffee and vanilla but again all in proportion with just the right amount of savoury notes. Power and elegance is a very attractive trait to own. You could drink this now but I would wait three to five years and let it unfold into the serious red it is.
