Curly Flat Pinot Noir 2012

Macedon, Victoria, AustraliaOne of Jancis Robinson's favourite wineries in Australia, and after spending time at this biodynamically farmed idyll with winemaker/owner Phillip Moraghan it's easy to see why. Uniquely lyre trained fruit. From the fantastic 2012 vintage comes this elegant pinot, with perfumed wild strawberry and fine spice aromas. Fresh and finely textured, the finessed palate carries perfumed cherries, red currant, subtle earth, savoury lamb, mineral and very fine grained tannins. Fruit is precise and pure, acidity is vibrant and the finish lingers with a stony minerality.Tasted: 09 February 2015Tasted by: Treve RingPrices:
