Brokenwood Semillon 2014

Pokolbin, Hunter, New South Wales, AustraliaFrom the excellent 2014 vintage (best in the Hunter since 1965?) comes this striking semillon - still flush in its youth, but prepped to last decades. Beautiful perfumed lime blossom, lemongrass, gentle honeysuckle, light almond aromas - youthful and promising. The juicy, pure fruited palate flows with the same lime lifted fruits and citrus zest backbone, along with subtle straw, sweet pear and finishing with fine spice.
