Wild Goose Pinot Noir 2012
Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, CanadaHess Vineyard in Okanagan Falls provides the fruit for this newish Wild Goose label. Wild Goose makes pure wines and as they move more into the red realm they are bringing that touch with them. At 12.9 percent alcohol it has all the style and finesse if not quite the ripe fruit. Cherry cran-berry spicy raspberry fruit is just a touch of fully ripe. Solid effort.
