Poplar Grove Chardonnay 2013

Naramata Bench, Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, CanadaNow well done the fresher skinnier less oak path this wine is fun to nose and sip. The nose is an herbaceous mix of tropical fruits with a hint of orange blossom, citrus and red apple fruit. Fresh green apple and citrus dominate the palate with a hit of lees in the back end. Now that oak is under control next up on the wish list is a touch more complexity and depth.
