Summerland Bench, Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, CanadaNarrative is an innovative storyline of wines from the Okanagan Crush Pad folks. The wine is made sans sulphur, enzymes and oak to best translate the terroir of the valley in a pure, makeup-less style. The white is a mix of chardonnay, gewürztraminer and pinot blanc from sites in Summerland (mid-valley) and Oliver in the south. Look for a dry, spare style white with bits of fresh lemon, dried herbs, and stony mineral notes. The palate is a mix of light pear fruit flavours with citrus and sage and a dry creamy finish.
