MMM Macho Man Monastrell Jumilla Monastrell 2012
Jumilla, Valencia and Murcia, SpainAs the label says MMM. This one hundred percent monastrell was recently selected the best barrel aged wine in Spain sold in Germany. Typically dark for monastrell/mourvèdre the nose is mix of black fruit and floral notes with no reductive notes. The attack is soft, round and pleasing in the mouth with bits of mineral, smoky, black fruits and leather and black pepper. Very old vines are the secret weapon her.
