Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, CanadaThe fruit is had picked and whole bunched press 'Champagne' style a small portion is fermented in oak and age on its lees for three months to add some structure and weight to the wine. Winemaker Bertus Albertyn has added 9 percent gewürztraminer. Its touch fresher than last year in our estimation, a good thing, but make no mistake this is a richer pear and lees style gris with some minerality to keep it on track and food friendly.
