Lomas del Valle Syrah 2012
Valle de Casablanca, Region de Aconcagua, ChileThe Lomas syrah is made from the 525 clone not common in Chile. The nose is floral and fresh with meaty spicy chocolate notes. On the palate blackcurrant and blackberry fruit mark the nose but all in a fresh, cool style with meaty, peppery undertones. Love the balance here; no over extracted flavours and frankly a bottle style that makes you want to drink the entire bottle yourself. Fruity, ready-to-drink with excellent varietal character. Try this with grilled pork or beef.Tasted: 17 December 2014Tasted by: Anthony Gismondi and Stuart TobePrices:BC | $22.00 | 750ml | speculative listing - Stile Wines |
