Familia Bianchi Reserva Malbec 2012
San Rafael, General Alvear, Southern Region, Mendoza, ArgentinaVoted the World's Best Dry Red at Vinales International Paris 2014 by the Union des Enologists de France (French Winemaker's Association) it was awarded the coveted Trophee Vinalies Internationale for Best Dry Red. It is amazing tribute to a $20 red wine from Argentina. We like the wine, especially for the price although we could quibble over the pruny aspects of its rich, spicy fruit and cherry jam notes laced with liquorice and a bit of chocolate. We suspect steak with a homemade chimichurri sauce would be the perfect match.Tasted: 30 December 2014Tasted by: Anthony Gismondi and Stuart TobePrices:BC | $20.00 | 750ml | specialty listing |
