The fruit is cool and chiselled with fine acidity and silky easy-sipping tannins that finish with hint of smoke and tea. Cono Sur Single Vineyard Block 21 Pinot Noir Viento Mar 2012
Valle de San Antonio, Region de Aconcagua, ChileAn assertive, ripe style, with concentrated black cherry, wild raspberry, bramble, smoked stone and waves of medicinal herbs and earth. This vineyard, Viento Mar, translates as Ocean Wind, and the pinot block is located at the highest point of the red clay soiled, Campo Lindo Estate. The cool marine winds act to preserve acidity and prolong ripening, resulting in the expressive focus of this coastal pinot. Tasted: 05 September 2014Tasted by: Prices:
