Blue Mountain Gold Label Brut NV

Okanagan Falls, Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, CanadaBased on the cooler 2019 vintage, this bottling of the Gold Label is a blend of 65 percent pinot noir and 35 percent chardonnay that was aged for 24 months on its lees (disgorged August 2021). There's a generous fruitiness to this vintage, with a combination of bright red berries, red apple, and lemon, which is complemented by subtle toasty notes. It's beautifully balanced, perhaps not as complex as the 2018 vintage, but with a lovely intensity and purity to the fruit. As always, one of the best value sparkling wines you'll find in Canada.Tasted: 12 November 2022Tasted by: Prices:
