Bella Sparkling Gamay Rosé Oliver 2012

Oliver, Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, CanadaOliver's Secrest Mountain Vineyards is home to this gamay sparkler grown over sand, silt and gravel. The fruit is given some four hours skin contact before it is de-stemmed and pressed off. There is no malolactic fermentation to preserve acidity and freshness and the wine is hand-riddled. Tasted from a half-bottle the nose is fresh and packed full of delicate strawberry notes. The attack is bit a rustic with yeasty, earthy red fruit notes but with a softer, gentler more appealing finish. Try this with grilled prawns or fresh chèvre.Tasted: 09 June 2013Tasted by: Prices:
