8th Generation Vineyard Confidence 2012
Okanagan Falls, Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, CanadaIt would appear consumers have confidence in this fast selling, soft, easy-sipping rose. It is a mix of merlot, pinot noir, dunkelfelder, pinot gris and viognier in 2012 and it smells of candied/taffy red apples. The attack is round and off dry with more taffy, caramel notes with just a pinch of grapefruit underneath to keep it fresh. Try this with spicy sushi or serve it chilled and solo before the party gets rolling.Tasted: 10 February 2014Tasted by: Prices:BC | $23.00 | 750ml | winery direct or private wine stores |
