Maharashra, IndiaAwkward sweet nose of baked nectarine and quince and grapefruit that lingers on the palate. Round, soft and sweet on the entry with honey, canned peach and candied ginger flavours. Some viognier character but a bit too sweet to really know where it is headed. The Dindori estate is in the Maharashtra state. Butter chicken anyone.Tasted: 26 October 2014Tasted by: Prices:
Maharashra, IndiaEver tried a wine from India before? Didn't think so. This is from the red soils of the Dindori estate, in Maharashtra state. The mid-sweet wine is a juxtaposition of salt and carnations alongside with canned peach juice, matchstick and bitter spice before a warm finish. Disjointed overall, but another country to check off on your tasting map. Tasted: 15 October 2014Tasted by: Prices:
