Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, CanadaQuieter nose, with plum, cola, steak sauce, black cherry on the nose. By contrast, the first sip is intense wood - toasted cedar plank - followed by smoked bacon bits, dark flowers and assertive spice. Very juicy palate, hewed by ragged, rough tannins before finishing a touch hot and with a return to the sweet steak sauce.
