Maipú, Northern Region, Mendoza, ArgentinaRipe, baked black cherry, potent kirsch and coffee coat this full bodied malbec. Fleshy tannins are lined with a sticky grip, the heat and concentration of the vintage and vintner evident, now four years along. Potent black liquorice dominates the chocolatey finish. Drinking well now, and widely available.Tasted: 05 September 2016Tasted by: Prices:
Maipú, Northern Region, Mendoza, ArgentinaToso remains a consistent producer of quality friendly style reds. The LE malbec is a good example of the dense, soft tannins that give this malbec its appeal. Look for smoky, liquorice black cherry fruit with some meaty highlights and the usual rich, glossy, firm finish. Youthful but already to go with a grilled steak. Good value.Tasted: 07 September 2014Tasted by: Prices:
