Nexus Vega Murillo 2012
Toro, Castilla-Leon, SpainBodega del Palacio de los Frontaura y Victoria was built in 1574 in the centre of Toro. The vineyards behind this youthful red are sitting 654 metres above sea level in the province of Zamora. Vega Murillo is made with the local tempranillo known as Tinta de Toro. The nose is an earthy/meaty affair with some cherry berry fruit underneath. Rustic but in a good way this wine delivers fine value for its price. Affordable, authentic and ready to drink.Tasted: 05 September 2014Tasted by: Anthony Gismondi and Stuart TobePrices:BC | $15.00 | 750ml | speculative listing - Icon Fine Wines & Spirits |
