Boutari Grande Reserve Naoussa 2007
Naousa, Makedonia, GreeceSmoky, resin, prune, and cedar aromas flecked with pepper, black berry, soy, tobacco, somewhat meaty aromas. Full, round, dry attack with some astringency on the back palate. Cedar, smoky, prune, tobacco, leather, licorice, soy and dried fig flavours. Good concentration and showing a bit of maturity despite the tannin. Try with grilled meat dishes or give it a few more years to shed its rustic notes.Tasted: 27 August 2014Tasted by: Anthony Gismondi and Stuart TobePrices:BC | $22.00 | 750ml | specialty listing |
