Romain Duvernay Crozes-Hermitage 2012
Crozes Hermitage, Northern Rhone, Rhone Valley, FranceFresh peppery, caraway, meaty, tobacco, black cherry nose with savoury, earthy, roasted pepper notes. The attack is dry, fresh, round and elegant. The mid-weight palate is awash in with black cherry, licorice, and savoury, meaty, celery salt, roast pepper and tobacco leaf flavours. Youthful with some light, rustic tannins on the finish. Good intensity. Try this with grilled sausages or steaks.Tasted: 17 July 2014Tasted by: Anthony Gismondi and Stuart TobePrices:BC | $30.00 | 750ml | speculative listing - Red Dog |
