Teusner Joshua Grenache Mataro Shiraz 2013

Barossa Valley, South Australia, AustraliaJoshua was the first wine made at Teusner back in 2002. The recipe is unoaked, juicy, spicy, Barossa grenache, mataro and shiraz blended into a 63/23/14 mix. Teusner says the grapes were the best they have harvested since they winery launch in 2002 and we believe him. The 70 year old grenache grown in the sandy soils of the Riebke Vineyard in the northern Barossa is the star of the show. Soft, bright youthful and brimming with spicy plummy/black raspberry fruit and a spicy twist this is fun easy sipping from an amazing vintage.Tasted: 15 June 2014Tasted by: Anthony Gismondi and Stuart TobePrices:
