Louis Bernard Côtes du Rhône Villages Rouge 2012

Côtes du Rhône Villages, Southern Rhone, Rhone Valley, FranceMaison Louis Bernard works with over 20 vineyard owners in the Côtes-du-Rhône Villages appellation which spreads across some 4000 ha and 95 villages in Ardèche, Vaucluse, Drôme and Gard. You can expect a slightly more complex structure and bouquet from a 'Villages' versus the Cotes du Rhone. The blend is black grenache, syrah and mourvèdre. The attack is fresh with warm spicy fruit flecked with dried herbs black fruits and liquorice. A solid weekend red for the barbecue.Tasted: 15 June 2014Tasted by: Anthony Gismondi and Stuart TobePrices:
