Château d'Esclans Whispering Angel Rosé 2012

Côtes de Provence, Provence, South of France, FranceSascha Lichine, son of the legendary Alexis and Patrick Leon, former winemaker at Chateau Mouton are the forces behind this high-end Provence project. Whispering Angel is the introductory label made to be consumed quickly. It is a delicate, delicious drinking style of rosé with a strawberry/watermelon aroma with light juicy citrus red fruit flavours on the palate. It's the delicate, airy style that makes this almost colourless wine so delicious but hardly cheap. Any number of summer style pâtés would make a fine match.Tasted: 09 June 2014Tasted by: Anthony Gismondi and Stuart TobePrices: BC 34.00 specialty listing Producer: Château d'EsclansDistributors: Southern Glazer's Wine and Spirits of Canada
