Bodega Atamisque Serbal Sauvignon Blanc 2013
Tupungato, Valle de Uco, Tunuyán, Central Region, Mendoza, ArgentinaA pleasant surprise, high altitude (3,600') sauvignon that arrives with understatement. The attack is quiet preferring subtle citrus, grapefruit, grass and aromatic notes that draw you into the glass. Bits of lime and dried herbs with just a touch of citrus mark the palate of what could be mistaken for a mini Sancerre. Complexity and balance make this very food-friendly. The wine is stainless steel ferments and goes through 100 percent malolactic Fermentation: 100% in stainless steel tanks.Tasted: 07 June 2014Tasted by: Anthony Gismondi and Stuart TobePrices:BC | $19.00 | 750ml | speculative listing - Quaff Wines and Spirits |
