Baillie-Grohman Récolte Blanc 2013

Creston, British Columbia, CanadaThe Récolte Blanc is a 60/25/15/ mix of pinot gris, schönburger and kerner a sort of Edelzwicker without the riesling. Look for a bright fresh, off-dry white with gobs of pear and melon fruit. The palate is all tropical with a twist of bitter lime rind in the finish. The fruit is a mix of estate (Creston) and in Keremeos BC. The weight and structure and residual sugar 14.6 cries out for spicy Thai or Indian food.
