Baillie-Grohman Pinot Gris 2013
Creston, British Columbia, CanadaAnother year and this wine has really started to sing. We love the freshness here and its ability to make one salivate. The attack is both fresh and ripe with beautiful textures, baked apple, melons and a lovely current of citrus, orange and minerality in the back end. The finish is clean with just ahint of sweetness and dried herbs. Well done and a statement for Creston and Erickson Bench. Well made. Half the wine is fermented in 6 year or older Burgundian barriques used to impart texture and it works.Tasted: 08 June 2014Tasted by: Anthony Gismondi and Stuart TobePrices:AB | $25.00 | 750ml | SRP |
