Le Fleurs du Mal Cevennes Rosé 2013
The evil flowers isn't moniker isn't likely to make me buy this wine but its pale colour and sapid palate is attractive. Expect a mix of citrus, cherries/strawberries and light peach on the nose and palate with a clean refreshing finish. Charcuterie on the patio works for me. Cevennes is the IGP covering the northern half of the Gard in mountainous terrain. Good value; fun summer sipper.Tasted: 20 May 2014Tasted by: Anthony Gismondi and Stuart TobePrices:BC | $15.00 | 750ml |
