Van Westen Vineyards Voluptuous 2010

Naramata Bench, Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, CanadaVanilla, cedar, liquorice, resin, chocolate, poultry spice, plum pudding, waxy, meaty aromas. Dry, fresh, juicy but slightly lean palate with youthful tannins. Black cherry, peppery, tobacco, rooty, coffee, liquorice, vanilla, olive, balsamic and resin flavours. A bit warm on the finish but youthful and needs another two to four years to round out and integrate the oak. Solid effort in a tough year.Tasted: 24 April 2014Tasted by: Anthony Gismondi and Stuart TobePrices:
