Herdade da Comporta 2008
Setúbal Peninsula, Central and Southern Portugal, PortugalAt four plus years in barrel and bottle this red has softer edges right out of the bottle. The fruit is mostly red and spicy with resiny, dry cherry fruit flavours with a touch of rustic tannins. A solid wine but expensive for what you get. Try this with a roasted bird or grilled lamb to subdue the tannins and dryness.Tasted: 01 April 2014Tasted by: Anthony Gismondi and Stuart TobePrices:BC | $28.00 | 750ml |
