8th Generation Vineyard Riesling 2012
Summerland Bench, Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, CanadaFresh floral, green/red apple nose all in much cleaner version that we saw in 2011. Plenty of residual sugar, some 24g/L would suggest a weightier riesling with rich, nectarine and honeyed red apple notes with just enough citrus to keep it all fresh. Juicy and sweet this would be a perfect match with spicy barbecued ribs or piquant sushi dishes. Bottled under screwcap this will easily hold and develop in bottle over the next five to seven years. Well done.Tasted: 29 March 2014Tasted by: Anthony Gismondi and Stuart TobePrices:BC | $21.00 | 750ml | winery direct or private wine stores |
