Harper's Trail Cabernet Franc 2012
Kamloops, British Columbia, CanadaThe first Kamloops cabernet franc grapes came into the winery on October 22 and other than a touch of reduction under screwcap it's a fine start. Savoury, primary red fruit aromas and flavours mark the nose. Delicate floral raspberry and almost sweet cherries mark dance on the palate with silky tannins. Less is more here and it is the road to success. Veal might be the perfect match.
